A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self-made publication, generally about a group or subject one is involved with. I made this zine about sneakerhead culture because of my interest in shoes and streetwear. Using found content for the text and my own photographs for documentation, I laid out the material in a style reflective of streetwear culture, and then printed the booklet on a risograph.
Because of the risograph printing process, I worked with a duotone color palette of red and black. I chose a sans-serif typeface and stuck to minimal design elements to keep the design inline with current streetwear trends
